gatherologie was created in September of 2016 with three company goals in mind: streamline the event-planning process, help people stay within their means, and create unforgettable gatherings. It was a huge leap to start a company, but it has opened such a fulfilling chapter in my life. I'm so grateful for all of the incredible people I've met along the way. It's their kindness, patience, and encouragement that has helped gatherologie blossom. Every day we create, experiment, stumble, and grow. We would love for you to follow us as we chase (and sometimes trip) after our dreams.
I grew up in San Jose, California and have been an entrepreneur since the third grade (see more about that here). I was fortunate to have the opportunity to become an event and wedding planner during college, and I fell in love with the industry. It was the first time I enjoyed work so much that it became a slight obsession. A few years later, I was accepted into Cal Poly's start-up accelerator program, which gave me the perfect opportunity to build my dream company. No matter how many hours I work, I can still look at wedding photos and just melt over the beautiful details.
I recently got engaged to my best friend and surprisingly, I have no idea what I'm going to do. I am so glad I have gatherologie on my side to help us. I'll be sure to keep you posted on the progress!
I am a Californian, fast friend, and lover of the written word. I graduated magna cum laude from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2017 with a degree in English and a minor in Religious Studies.
Throughout college, I worked as a freelance videographer and voiceover artist for startups and nonprofits. I quickly fell in love with entrepreneurship, so when I met Ashley and heard about gatherologie, I could not have been more excited.
Besides academia and film, my consuming interests include aesthetics, witty banter, my golden retriever (named whiskey), and early morning beach-going.
